The boys are playing upstairs with some girls from down the street. They’re sword-fighting and making a huge ruckus. It’s wonderful. Sure, it occasionally gets on my nerves, but how many parents get a chance to watch their kids grow? How many parents spend their kids lives while they’re at work - usually in a job they don’t like?
Today I am thankful for the simple opportunity to be a part of my kids life.
